In 2003, Jamie Scharfencamp started helping a longtime friend in his lawn care company. After a couple of years, he decided to start his own company with the help of his friend. In 2005, Jamie started Green Earth Lawn Care. For 2 years, Jamie worked full-time while caring for lawns in the evenings and weekends. Jamie also enrolled in small business management classes at Ridgewater College to help him better understand the paperwork side of running a business. Since 2005, he has expanded a little with every season, from better software in the office to newer equipment to help us be more efficient and better serve our clients. Jamie has part-time employees helping for the first 5 years. In 2010, Jamie hired his first full-time employee to help keep up with the business growth. Green Earth Lawn Care now proudly has 7 full-time and 8 part-time employees.
